The ballots for the referendum to develop and implement a strategic bargaining campaign, affiliate with the International Federation of Professional and Technical Engineers (IFPTE), establish a defence fund and a dues increase to one hour of salary per pay period were counted at 12:00 hours on July 12, 2006. TEAM is pleased to announce that the proposed referendum was ratified.
The TEAM Office will be responding to any comments or concerns Identified with the ballots in the next few days. The Executive Board, Communication Action Committee, and Office would Like to extend their thanks to all TEAM members in MTS Communications and MTS Media for taking the time to vote and providing feed back on the referendum. Thank you also to those who volunteered to serve as ballot counters.
