Re: Members’ Decision To Do IBEW Work Being Circulated
TEAM has been advised that MTS has compiled and is circulating one or more spreadsheets that include the names of TEAM members that have said “yes” to doing IBEW work, and those who have said “no”. These spreadsheets have been distributed via email to Directors, front-line and other managers.
Should you receive a spreadsheet, we strongly request that you keep the information absolutely confidential as it could seriously affect personal relationships between our members and their colleagues in the other bargaining units.
To be clear, the Company cannot require you to declare, at this point in time, whether or not you will (or will not) do IBEW bargaining unit work in the event of a strike or lockout.
If you have already provided a response and you have concerns about your peers or fellow employees in other bargaining units being aware of your decision, we suggest that you contact the Company immediately and demand that your name be removed from these spreadsheets.
