The purpose of the association is to promote the interests of the membership, to advance the social and economic welfare of its members; to represent any or all employees covered by the certificate in discussion with their employer(s) and to negotiate such points as:

• salaries
• conditions of work, and/or
• any other pertinent problems or issues that may exist or arise.
