To All IFPTE Locals,
Please find the attached statement in response to the horrible tragedy today at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, CT. IFPTE Local 136-13 represents paraeducators in that school district with as many as 25 who are apparently assigned to that school.
David LaFemina, IFPTE International Representative, is gathering information and we will keep you posted as we learn more and with information on how IFPTE Local might be able to assist.
