Re: Pension Lawsuit Court of Appeal Decision
The Manitoba Court of Appeal decided in favour of MTS yesterday, reversing the lower court's earlier monetary award to members of the Defined Benefit Pension Plan. Lawyers for TEAM, IBEW, CEP and the retirees are reviewing the full text of the decision to determine what further steps might be taken, including an appeal to the Supreme Court of Canada.
The court’s decision is available here. TEAM will have further comment following our lawyers full analysis of the decision. In the meantime, please email the TEAM office with your questions for an FAQ which we will release the week of February 20th.
